Abby had to go :(

Ella Bella the best week possible to cap the summer off...with her bestie Abby from Seattle. It had been a year and a half since they had seen each other. What a treat!

Their favorite dining spot...Red Robin!
After spending a few days at our house, the girls got a hotel to spend a couple of nights in. Their days consisted of pool parties, movies and all the snacks!

Their trip came to an end and it was time to head back to Seattle...goodbyes are hard :( It was so nice having a little piece of Seattle here at home.

Back with my girls getting ready to head back to 2nd grade!

Almost as tall as mama! I'm sure she will surpass me by the end of 5th grade :) This was our first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year!

I still get to take this little love with me though :)
After sending Ella off to her first day of middle school...I slightly panicked behind the scenes. I had my game face on to ease her nerves that I didn't realize I was nervous for her until she was gone! But when I got to school...I found little notes she had secretly hidden all over my classroom to encourage ME. Bless her heart!

Oy...it's hard to say by to summer :( Time for schedules, early mornings and all responsibilities again. But the fun part is...it's holiday time!!!
And family dinner nights!!!

I'll leave you with my Fall photo dump :) I love getting pictures of these sweet babies at school.
And THIS GUY started pooping in the potty at school. YAAAYYYYY!!!! This was his first day. It took A LOT of encouragement bribing. Doesn't he look proud?!?
This one is still captain of the Hot Mess Express

This one got his turn for his one on one visit at Nana B and Papa Bo's house. They tried out the ninja gym. Luca had a record breaking time for the obstacle course and was the only one to be able to get up the 16 foot warped wall! America Ninja Warrior kiddie edition here we come!

Luca Turns {Turned} Eight!

That was so 3 months ago. Obviously I'm a tad behind on the blog. I thought about letting it go because, you know, 4 kids and a super busy life...BUT...I rallied because there are just too many good memories that need to be documented! I'm still not sure if I'll be able to pick up the scrapbooking :/ It's a struggle. I digress.
Anyway, in August our first baby boy turned 8!!! All he wanted was a pool party with his family, his favorite snacks and a Nintendo 3DS. He even had friends here visiting from Seattle that got to join in for his big day!

I made his cake to look like the screen of the 3DS...or at least I tried :)

Ellie and Olli girl talk basking in the sun :) Does it get any cuter than this? Nope!

All of his favorite foods...cookies, chocolate chip cookies, gummy bears, sour patch kids, potato chips, doritos, fruit snacks and fruit roll-ups...basically sugar, carbs and salt :)
Happy birthday to our buddy boo! It was a little windy so we had to go inside for cake :)

Wishing for a Nintendo 3DS :)

Grandpa with his blue stained lips after enjoying some yummy cake :)

Presents!

So happy for his  Nintendo 3-DS! I put the actual DS in the very bottom so he had to unwrap the charger and other things first yet somehow he was still shocked when he opened the DS...this boy is the sweetest! Here he is innocently opening a charger for it without assuming the actual DS is in there too haha. Also, I love how excited Ella and Jonah are for him :)

So happy :)

I love that he takes time to read all of the cards before ripping into his gift because he gets SO EXCITED about the presents!

His audience :)

Abby and Emma took the time to decorate write him the sweetest cards!

Happy birthday Buddy Boo! You are SO loved by MANY!!! He has gotten letters throughout the year from his camp counselors at Camp War Eagle...this was his birthday card. So sweet. It meant so much to him.
