Traveling with Tiny Tots

Well, we made it to Arkansas! Hopefully everyone's ears have quit bleeding by now. It wasn't the quietest or easiest journey but my only expectation was that we made it to Arkansas and we were successful :) Thanks to everyone's prayers for traveling mercies, the machine spit out not one but two free beverages which to me seems like nothings short of a miracle because we all know airlines are out to make a dollar for every little thing. And if anyone was going to spend money on drinks it would probably be a mom flying alone with two littles haha. I was very thankful for the second one after Milo kicked the first one over on the lady sitting in our row who just happened to be wearing WHITE PANTS. But with very few casualties including but not limited to: some money for the nice lady to buy new pants, a few pacis and my shot nerves...we made it at last and it was worth it all!

The best part of the journey was when baby sissy woke up to calm her brother down. It was the best 45 minutes of the trip! I told my mom that I think one of the big reasons God gave us Olli was for Milo. She has a way with him!

Olli was able to calm and occupy him better than this mouthful of chocolate!

This girl was a happy little traveler the whole way on her first flight!
We started at Mimi and Pop's house. They were so excited to meet their NINETH grand baby...the grand finale!!! The question with these two is...
Who puts who to sleep?

Milo and Pops were buds again right away of course.
Mimi and Olli were the best of friends too. Mimi walked 100 circles around the living room for this girl trying to soothe her upset tummy...

AND THEN...
My sweet bestie Anne packed up her tiny newborn baby and drove all the way to Van Buren so we could see each other and meet our baby girls!!!
Two generations of BFFs right here...
We spent the next 24 hours just pretending like we lived in the same town which would be a dream come true. We packed our girls up and headed out to dinner.
We stayed up talking...
and twinning...
We woke up the next morning, had breakfast and dressed our girls in their first of many matching outfits and took pics...
Olli + Ruthie...what a sweet pair!
This one cracks me up...they look super skeptical haha.

Milo had to get in on the baby action too :) He took to Anne right away and criiiiiiiied when she had to leave! It melted my heart! I think he has a sixth sense for who my people are...but really :)

Deuces...
Mimi and Milo! This was our very best effort but failed attempt at eating out :-) It wasn't 20 minutes before we were packing up our meals and running for safety heading home.

Meanwhile, Ella's bestie Abby was treating her to ice-skating, bouncy houses and a sleep over while Luca and Daddy had some bonding time.
And even though Milo can sense Mimi's sweetness and tries to use it to his advantage, he eventually settled down to just love on her.
Early morning Mimi and Milo snuggles...
Off to Springdale for part two!
