Christmas this year was pretty cozy, warm and homey :)
We started out on Christmas Eve with 2 very excited little kids and one sad baby with an ear infection :( We made our last mad dash to the doctor and the grocery store and then got home to bake cookies for Santa!
The elves left us today as well to go back to the North Pole. Ella is trying to smile through her tears :)
I think Santa will love these!
We opened a couple of Christmas presents early...Luca is looking all fierce in his new shoes!
Then we headed over to church for our Christmas Eve candlelight service...
Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright...
When we got home, we got dressed in our Christmas mommies made by Nana B! She sent reindeer pjs with a recorded story of her reading Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer so she could read a book to the kids in on Christmas Eve!
poor baby dude was just not feeling that great
We put Milo to bed and let the big kids open a couple more presents...
and then we read The Night Before Christmas...the one from my childhood. The pictures in this book bring back so many memories!
Then we set out our treats for Santa and the reindeer of course!
On Christmas everyone was up at 5:30 am and ready to go!!! Milo was mad about taking a picture before he got to nurse :)
The ELM team :)
Milo didn't really care much for presents and was a little overwhelmed by it all :)
Merry Christmas baby!
We spent the rest of the day in our pjs playing away! We made a turkey and all the fixings and had a Christmas feast. We drank LOTS of coffee to keep us away. We had friends over to share food and spirit too and just enjoyed being together. It was a very Merry Christmas.
