Merry Christmas 2013

This Christmas was a very special one...Milo's first Christmas :) It's already the most wonderful time of the year and my favorite day of the year, but Milo made it even sweeter this year. AND Nana B and Papa Bo got to be here to meet their new little grand love and celebrate Christmas with us. They got in very late one night. Milo didn't quite make it to welcome them with his big beautiful eyes! He was long lost in sweet dreams. Meeting Nana and Papa...

The next morning, Ella and Luca woke up to their Nana B and Papa Bo! Papa Bo was telling Ella how he saw Santa's sleigh through the airplane window :D
My sweet babes...all THREE of them!!!
Christmas Eve 2013
On Christmas Eve, we went to our candlelight Christmas Eve service at church. It was very special.
and then came home to open gifts from Nana B and Papa Bo!

Stockings! My mom is seriously the best stocking stuffer. I mean really. She could work for Santa.

Milo's new swankie blankie!

Then we decorated our cookies for Santa and laid out all sorts of goodies for him and his reindeer!
Ok so Ella decorated cookies for Santa while Luca ate every cookie we put in front of him and squirted the icing directly into his mouth...

reading the night before Christmas (my book from my childhood) before getting tucked in). Little Ella was so sleepy...
Ella and Luca slept together that night. Christmas memories!

Christmas morning came EARLY!!! Too early. 4 am to be exact! But I had one excited little girl that we just couldn't possibly put back to bed :) Her words: "DAD! Santa was here. He really came. AND he brought Milo and elf! There are THREE elves in there dad!!!" The first thing that she noticed was our new elf that has joined our family! Santa dropped off Milo's elf for him :)
Meet Bodie...

It was even too early for baby Milo! Now that's saying something haha.

merry christmas baby
Merry Christmas Milo! You were a very good boy this year in your 3 1/2 whole weeks of life!
We spent the rest of the day playing games, playing with our new toys and Mike cooked the most AMAZING Christmas dinner. Yes, Mike. I haven't quite worked up to cooking of that magnitude just quite yet ;)

For the rest of our time with Nana B and Papa Bo, we hibernated  and just loved on Ella, Luca and Milo. We played with all of our Christmas loot and adored our new baby boy.
Of course though we had to take them to breakfast at Beths :)
Playing games waiting on a table...
It was our first Christmas to be away from home and family so we were so thankful that my parents could be here and Mike's parents were here right before.
Napping champs...
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
