Milo is 1 week old today! He has come home to a family of 4 other people that are absolutely obsessed with him. It really has been the best week. He slept for the first 4 days...literally all day and all night. We even had to wake him up to eat! He doesn't cry much. When he's hungry, he lets out one shrill girlish yelp and thats it. Its pretty cute. We've had so much help with the kids and Mike has rocked it as well, so I've just been able to lay on the couch and soak in all of his newborn sweetness. I barely put him down. I start to have withdrawals when I'm not holding him...a separation anxiety of sorts! I love him. He's absolutely perfect. It is already the most wonderful time of the year, and to add a new little babe to the mix is just purely magical. He has made the Christmas season even better!
The past couple of days he's started to have more awake periods but he's still sleeping great at night. He wakes up every 3-3.5 hours to eat and goes right back to sleep. I can handle that! He's starting to take a little more shape. He look so much like Ella and so much like Luca at different times. Here is how we've spent our first week with our new little addition...
first night at home...
the hair! Adorable. And if fluffs out like baby duck feathers after it's been washed. I melt.
baby feet...one of my favorite things in the world.
Luca looks like he's planning their future shenanigans. By the look on his face, I think he's got some pretty good ideas!
holding Milo has become a part of our before and after school routine :)
tiny Christmas nommers!
First bath at home!
You LOVED having your hair washed. You rolled your head all under the water and just relaxed.
Luca was covering his ears as we got ready for the bath. He thinks Milo is scary when he cries :)
