Weekend Review

The free weekends are ticking away so we've gotta make the most of every one we have before wittle baby Milo gets here! On Friday, we started the day right and had cupcakes to celebrate Ella's birthday at school. She was still set on the rainbow thing so rainbow cupcakes it was for my little princess!

While Ella was at school on Friday, we painted the LAST room in the house while this little guy recovered from a Halloween hangover :)
Luca's room was the last one to be painted! No more white walls and painting projects are complete! Whew! We've never painted a whole house before. It's one of those "so glad it's over but happy it happened" projects. I'm still working on some curtains and wall decor, but the paint helps a lot. It's a bluish/gray. Very classic and big boy :)

Ella's purple room glows through the door!

Friday night we caught up on our shows and recovered from a hard day of painting. Pretty Pippa is going to have a rude awakening when a baby Milo takes up these arms!
Saturday turned into a day cuddled up on the couch by the fire when a wind storm blew out our power for the entire day. A power outage...just what I needed to cut off my sources to let me craft and clean and MAKE me sit on the couch! I did manage to get Luca's last window treatment sewn that night after we regained power...much better. Hopefully he will sleep a little later too :)
Sunday we had a family/maternity photo shoot! Here is a little sneak peek! Can't wait to see the rest!
