We all did a lot of this over spring break :) We did fun outings with the kids, went through phase 1 of liquidation in our home and had a VERY successful garage sale, played with lots of friends, ate a lot of food, another bday celebration for me with friends, late nights, sleeping in, had a girls night, double dates, read hunger games... had the best time. We even managed to get in our spring cleaning!
lots of snuggling in this house :)
Like I said, we slept A LOT!!!
And when I say we are liquidating, I mean it. (phase 2 is this summer). We went through EV-ER-Y-THING. Even through my hope chest when I found all of my jr high and high school cheer and gymnastic slicks and uniforms. So much fun haha...
We usually make a zoo trip over summer, but we have smartened up a little bit and realized in Texas, prime zoo weather is spring or fall :) This was Luca's 2nd zoo visit, but he was only 6 months on his first so this was the first one he could enjoy!
the elephant show...
feeding the giraffes! My FAVORITE part of the zoo!!!
on our last day, Ella and I had a girls day out. We went to see The Lorax in 3D. So much fun! Her face lit up when she put on the glasses and she said in the sweetest most mesmerized little voice, "so cool!'
Back to work now! We have a super summer planned :) cant wait!
My birthday fell on the first weekend of spring break. What I wanted this year was my mom to myself so we could cuddle up in the rain for a weekend pinterest craftathon :) It was SO much fun! We stayed in our pjs and it rained all weekend. perfection. We made...
a christmas shirt for ella...
a thanksgiving shirt...
a t-shirt quilt with my old sorority shirts! This was my favorite project and definitely the most extensive! These are so expensive to have made and they were just occupying my drawer space, but I couldn't get rid of them! Each one holds such great memories! So now I get to keep them forever on a quilt :)
silouhettes for our bedroom...
and last but not least...a newlittle decor for my kitchen!
for our birthday gifts, mom got us matching ugg houseshoes!!! so cozy :)
So after the weekend craftathon...Mike and I just enjoyed every single day with each other, the kids and friends. This was Monday, a beautiful day at the park topped off with our first Bahama Bucks icee of the season!
Finally! I started on Ella's big girl bedroom before she was 2. She's 4 now and I just now have the bedding that completes her palace! I've been saving for forever now and ordering it piece by piece for 6 months as they have sales because it is not cheap! But...it's perfect and worth the saving because I've been looking for over 2 years now. Her bedding is one of the few things in her room I didn't make but that's ok b/c it's gotta hold up for a while. Like til she's 16 :) But now I need to repaint her walls. The decorating never ends! Good thing it's a hobby :)
E is a sparkly little gem. She lights up our lives in every way! She is so special to us. As our first born, she taught us how to be a mommy and a daddy! She was quite the little teacher too and has seemingly covered all the bases so we were very prepared for number 2! Her baby blues melt our hearts and she is a beautiful girl from the inside out. She is at her best in a fancy dress, heels, and a tiara which makes her a true princess.
L is our middle man. Weighing in at a studly 9lbs 4oz at birth, he has earned a few nicknames such as tiny, little dude, and hoss. Just like most Italian males, under his beefy and handsome exterior is a sensitive little man. We are fools for this boy in every way. As our first boy, our love for him is so unique and special. We have fallen head over heels for him! E is so crazy about him, I’m sure he thinks he has 2 mommies!
M is our littlest lovely! He is our sleepy snuggle bug. He is small but mighty and all things magical. From the sweet smell of his fuzzy little head to the tips of his sweet little baby toes, he is perfect in every way. We are over the moon for our new little tiny guy. E and L just can't get enough of him. He is everyones baby! He's loved to the max!
Olli is our 4th little lovely. Our cherry on top of it all! She surprised us but we were thrilled. She was the other little girl her brother and sister had been asking for! She lives up to all her names. Olli Mae is just a beauty and so peaceful. Our itty Olli or Bitsy is tiny but fierce. She is strong and packs quite a punch! And our Ollipop is sweeter than pie. She completes our little family! She is truly our real live baby Dolli!
I am a 30ish year old wife of an amazing husband. We met in the summer of 2004 and have been inseperable ever since! I am also a mommy of three little lovelies. Our sweet baby Ella was born in October of 2007. Our middle man, Luca, came to join us on our crazy journey in August of 2010. Mighty Milo is our latest lovely joining us in November of 2013! I love to scrapbook, blog, clean, watch movies, and hang with friends and family. Mike loves to read and exercise. Mainly, we love to love on our sweet babes! They are the best thing we have ever done.
