Sleepy Head

If found my camera in the middle of the night last night! I rolled over and then a clunk hit the bed and I prayed it was my camera and...ta da!!! I guess it must have gotten tangled in the sheets during my Sunday afternoon nap. So I guess I should publicly apologize to Ella for suggesting that she could be involved...sorry baby!
Anyway, Thursday morning was declared a pajama day. With the ear infection and antibiotics, most nights are restless but she had slept good, she was sleeping in, and I was LATE!! So I grabbed her out of bed in the dark and put her in the car and I didn't get a good look at her until I opened the garage door and I just laughed out loud. How cute is this! Once she realized I had the camera out, she knew what to do :0) That's my girl!
On Friday night, we went up to the church to take our family picture for the directory...
And we hit up sprinkles while we waited! Yum Yum...Ella and I enjoyed every crumb of the chocolate marshmallow cupcake.

Ella's fever has hung around for about a week. We took it easy on Saturday and then got out a little while to eat a birthday dinner for Daddy and to do a little shopping. Check out her pigtails! Her hair has started to grow rapidly...LOVE IT!
Had this been a noodle instead of a crouton, it would have been a little scene from one of my all time favorite Disney movies, Lady and the Tramp! Ella is the little lady sooooo, I guess that makes Mike the tramp? :0)
Even though she wasn't feeling to hot...she looked like a little angel for church this morning!

I love the way she looks at him
Look at those teeth! We are working on the "i teeth" at the moment...poor Ella, poor Mommy, poor Daddy. Those are rough!

Oh dear...

I'VE LOST MY CAMERA! I just sat down to make a post and my camera is no where to be found. I used it this morning at church but I don't remember where or if I left it!?!? There is a possibility that if I set it out, Ella could have taken it which could take weeks to find it. She loves to put things away (which I love) but sometimes is a little tricky when she is storing away important items. I looked in all of her hot spots but no luck.
Anyway, we had a super relaxing weekend. We shopped around a little on Saturday and then went to eat on Saturday night for Mike's birthday. Ella is still battling a little bit of a fever (even on the antibiotics) so we kept it low key but we all got to spend some much needed time with each other. We went to church this morning and this afternoon was declared as a family nap time!! We all took a 2 hour nap today...the timing was great...SO NICE! So, hopefully I'll find my camera and post the pictures!

Sweet Little Valentine

We had a great weekend. On Friday afternoon, we anxiously awaited the arrival of Aunt Tesha, Uncle David, and Jonah. We paced the sidewalk until they got here!

After they got here, we all walked down to the park to let the kids play. I did not get any pictures of that b/c within 5 minutes of getting to the park, Ella fell face first into concrete. She was pretty shaken up, but I think I was worse. Had it not been for an embarrassed Uncle David and Daddy (apparently I made quite a scene) and a very calm Aunt Tesha, I probably would have taken her to the e.r.! It was terrible! She even fainted a little bit but I think it is because she couldn't catch her breath from crying.
We survived the park so we went to Anamias for a yummy dinner!
Then came Saturday morning, Valentine's Day! Jonah and Ella danced in the living room for a while. I gave Ella her valentine goodies which included this adorable heart swim suit with the matching accessories and a dancing Brobie
Lookin good girl!
Work it!!

Uncle David wasn't feeling well, but he was a trooper and we all went to explore the Southlake shops. In the meantime, David got SUPER sick and had to go back to the house with Mike and Jonah and the girls stayed to shop.
Daddy's little Valentine
Then, when we got home, we took it easy and rented a movie and grilled out.

On Sunday morning, Uncle David and Aunt Tesha had to head out early b/c David still was not feeling well. We couldn't get any pictures of Ella and Jonah b/c they both ran 90 to nothing in opposite directions the entire weekend but he really was here...with his FAVORITE Aunt and Uncle! Mike and I are at a serious disadvange when it comes to owning that title, but we try to work hard at it. Mike and Jonah are big buddies!
And here we are tonight after our bath and a 103.3 temp!! I think she's cutting teeth...I hope it is the teeth! I couldn't even get her hair brushed after putting her pjs on b/c she just wanted to cuddle.
The weekend went by so fast! We felt bad that David made the whole trip just to feel bad the whole time but regardless, we just enjoyed them being here and getting to "hang" like old times. WE MISS YOU GUYS!!!

Ella's New Trick

I'm not actually sure if you would call this a trick...maybe more like a discovery!
Where can I find these snazzy shoes in my size?!?

A little catching up

Ella's Mimi and Pops came to visit this weekend. Ella was a little princess who worked both of them over pretty well with her precious pout. Within just a few minutes of them being here, she had already figured out who to go to and give the pout. She turned it on instantly...smart girl! I have to admit, I have a hard time resisting the pout too.

At the park with the ducks...
She walked all the way to and from the park!
You gotta watch her..we went outside to play after school today. I ran in to get my camera and came RIGHT BACK out and she had already eaten a dandelion! (notice the little white fluffies on her lips)

We also got a little Valentine in the mail today from Nana and Papa Bo! They bought their little love bug a whirly bug! First she rode it all around...
First she pushed it all around...
Then she checked it out some more...
Then she kissed it! Oops...wrong end girl :0)
I love this girl more and more every day if that is even possible. I love being her mommy! I thank God everyday that Ella is who she is and that he gave her to ME!! I can't wait to see her in the morning when she wakes up and I miss her after she goes to bed. Her Daddy and I are LOVE STRUCK!

Girls Weekend

Daddy had to work all weekend long! He lead a disciple now group so he was gone all day and all night all weekend long. So...Ella and I had a little girls weekend. The past few weeks we have been packing, moving, and unpacking, so we stayed in and kept it VERY simple this weekend. It was all good except for night time which was a little scary. I don't like being by myself at night anyway, let alone in a new place :0) Saturday we went to the park and the duck pond down the street. I enjoyed feeding the ducks and Ella had fun eating the bread! Other than that, we played hard, watched all our favorite shows, danced, and enjoyed our new home.
Ella was playing boo with me in this picture. As you can see, we didn't even bother to fix our hair this weekend. I swear she seems a little wilder on crazy hair days!
Feeding the ducks with a mouthful of bread :0)
